Founded in 1863, the Brooklyn Historical Society is dedicated to celebrating and preserving Brooklyn’s past, present and future. Located in the heart of Brooklyn Heights, this landmark building features stained glass windows & soaring ceilings. The main floor and lobby can accommodate cocktail parties for up to 350 and seated dinners for up to 150 guests. The Othmer Library, a beautiful enchanted room with vaulted ceilings, stained glass and mahogany bookshelves can host sit down & buffet dinners for up to 80 guests and cocktail receptions for up to 120 guests.
