Here are some of the things people have said about us in print:

"On a warm
September afternoon graduates
of one of New
York City's best restaurants in the 1980s, the Quilted
Giraffe, gathered at the New Paltz home of its owner
and chef, Barry Wine, to cater his wedding to
Elizabeth Wadsworth .... There was no detail too small
to merit the groom's attention .... Nothing had been
forgotten.
"More than 300 of the restaurant's signature beggar's
purses filled with caviar were snapped up after the
ceremony and washed down with cold sake. The
hot-smoked salmon, scalloped potatoes, and pecan
squares once graced the restaurant's menu."
"The dinner was catered by ex-Giraffer Loren Michelle
and her partner [chef Gregg Stegeman] at Brooklyn's
Naturally Delicious."

"When two chefs
get married, you can easily
imagine what their wedding will be like: a fabulous
gastronomic event. That is exactly what Leslie Parks
and Alan Harding treated their 150 guests -- and
themselves -- to last summer at their wedding in a
leafy suburb north of New York City. "We had all the
food we love at one big party," says Alan, a Brooklyn,
New York, restaurant owner.
"During the informal but spiritual ceremony, the bride
and her father, photographer Gordon Parks, read poems,
and the groom gave a touching speech. [The menu]
included oysters and shrimp at a raw bar, figs with
prosciutto, cheeses, pâté, steak, roasted vegetables, salmon, and
stuffed pork. Guests
ate sitting at tables under the tent ... or on
blankets spread under the shading branches of the
apple trees."

"Searching for off-the-beaten-track
locations, Hilary
and Stephen were smitten when they found the Tennis
House. 'The place was enchanting and irresistible,'
says Sterne, a deputy editor at InStyle. 'It has
Guastavino vaulted ceilings, graceful Palladian
arches, and mosaic floors.' Guests feasted on grilled
steak and heirloom tomato salad, as kids rode by on
their bikes. And the limitations -- not enough
electricity, no kitchen, and very basic bathrooms --
only made it more charming, she says."
